Depending on the shape of your customer journey, forms and the data collected by them, can serve as a good indication of a marketing qualified lead. You can highlight this to your sales and marketing teams using a combination of a gate editor field and rules as shown below. 


Create this Rule on the MQL gate editor field


Trigger:

As MQL is a gate editor field we will set this rule to run on submission. 


Conditions (IF):

In this example, the conditions are if the Job Level field value equals C-Level. You could also use 'is in' if you wanted to trigger the rule using multiple picklist options e.g. C-level, Vice President, Director. 


Actions (THEN): 

Change the value of this field to TRUE


Top Tip: Job Level is not the only indication of an MQL. You could use a form type, annual revenue or number of employees as a trigger.
