The report uses a combination of browser referrer and the URL of the current page to determine the channel i.e. the matching string must be contained within the referral URL as shown in the table below.

Google and Google Ads

Certain settings can affect the final referrer when a user arrives on a website via a Google ad. To handle such cases Formulayt will look for a GCLID in the page URL and if it is present will set the channel referrer to "Google Ads". For this to function correctly please ensure that auto-tagging is enabled in your Google Ad account.
